we make recycling easy
Our Tag n Drop service is an easy recycling solution available at our two Sydney depots.

Choose the nearest depot
Select between our Mascot and Silverwater locations.

Bring your containers
Bring your bottles and cans in the container of your choice for your convenience. We recommend using reusable baskets, boxes, or bags. However, if you don’t have a reusable container, our staff can provide a free one made from recycled materials.

Drop off your container
Once you drop off your containers, our friendly staff will handle the rest. They will carefully count your eligible bottles and cans, sorting and processing them to ensure everything is recycled properly.

Earn money
You can choose to receive your 10-cent refund per eligible container either in cash immediately or by having the total amount transferred directly to your nominated account within 7 business days. Alternatively, you can opt to donate your refund to the KARI Foundation, supporting their work in empowering Aboriginal communities through education, cultural initiatives, and family support programs.

Whether you’re a new or existing customer, our FAQ section provides detailed information to help you make the most of our services.
- Look for the 10c label on the container to see if it is eligible or not eligible for a refund. If there is a 10c refund mark, then you should be able to return the drink container, provided it is in good condition (uncrushed, empty, and with the label and barcode intact).
- Most 150ml to three-litre beverage containers are eligible for a 10c refund provided they are made from glass, plastic, aluminum, steel, or liquid paperboard. These are the containers most regularly found in the litter stream.
- Containers need to be empty, uncrushed, unbroken, and have the original label intact.
Generally, containers not eligible for a refund include those that held milk, wine, spirits, or pure fruit or vegetable juice containers larger than 1L.
Sort containers by material type (e.g., glass, plastic, aluminum) before returning them to ensure efficient processing.
Yes, it's advised to remove lids from containers before returning them to ensure they are properly processed.
Containers without labels may still be accepted, but it's best to ensure they meet eligibility requirements.
You can get refunds directly from the reverse vending machine, usually in the form of a voucher or digital transfer.
